The Westonbirt Shopping Fair is one of the largest charity fairs in the West Country. It is a not-for-profit annual event organised by the Home-Start Stroud District charity supporting both Home-Start and other local charities. Last year’s Fair raised £35,000 – all this money went to these charities.
Once again we are having our reindeer hunt – with hidden Elves too! All these little creatures were kindly knitted by the Tetbury WI. They are all named and will be semi hidden throughout the Fair.
The Tetbury WI meets at 7:30pm on the second Monday of each month in the Tetbury Dolphins Hall, New Church Street, Tetbury, GL8 8DS. New members are always welcome. More details can be found at www.tetburywi.org.uk.
As well as our cafe situated in the Marquee we also have a spacious licenced Restaurant in the school building. Here you can relax and enjoy delicious snacks, hot meals or a relaxing glass of prosecco throughout the day.
Home-made soups, fresh bread sandwiches, tasty hot meals and delicious salads will be served in the Dining Hall overlooking the wonderful gardens of Westonbirt. #shoptogive
Once again the gardens at Westonbirt School are open to all visitors during the Fair.
Wander around the wonderful specimens of trees, looking their best at this time of year, and see the more formal Italian Garden with its many architectural features including the unique double-pond.
The Fair organisers have sifted through hundreds of applications from stallholders. They have only chosen the very best. They have tried to find things that you cannot find on the high street or on-line. Here you can see, touch and feel what you are buying and talk to the very passionate entrepreneurs that have dedicated their time and energies to sourcing or manufacturing goods that are new, fashionable and unique.
